Imagine what our world would feel like if we all shared a daily mission: experiencing as many moments of joy a day. I bet our world would be a better place. Don’t you?
MIMO came to life to make those moments of joy just a bit more accessible to you. It all started with a vision for the ultimate cookie dough for baking and snacking. Inspired by a passion for creating delicious treats that don't negatively impact living beings with whom we share our home.
Hi I’m Amit one of many people who helped bring MIMO Cookies to life. If you’ve scrolled down this far to know who and what stands behind these cookies, thank you! Your interest is appreciated.
I’ve always been drawn to food, without it we cannot survive. With food, we create memories, socialize, and thrive. Being the foodie that I am, I wanted to develop a recipe for my favourite baked good that every vegan and non-vegan I know would love. I wanted to create the 21st-century version of Ruth Wakefield’s chocolate chip cookie. Selling baked cookies means the consumer can only enjoy them fresh for about 2 days.
So, the idea came up of selling the cookies frozen as pre-portioned dough that the consumer can bake whenever they want a fresh cookie. This way, the product can have a long shelf life and there is no need for preservatives. In addition, the product is now an experience and not only a cookie. The idea was established. The more market research I did, the more I felt like MIMO cookies could become a staple in every home.
My hope is to make your life easier, healthier, and tastier. Together, we can bake the world a better place.
Yours,
Amit
The first chocolate chip cookie was invented by Ruth Wakefield in the late 1930s. Ruth opened a lodge for travellers between Boston and New York. In this lodge, she served “Butter drop do cookies” which by mistake were changed to her own recipe. Word of the cookies spread, and it became the popular chocolate chip cookie we all know and love today.
In 1938 the first chocolate chip cookie recipe was published from Ruth Wakefield.
In 1941, Nestle launches the production of chocolate chip bags after acquiring the rights to use Ruth Wakefield's recipe.
In 1963, chocolate chip cookies started flying off the shelves!
The Cookie Monster evolved from a monster created by Jim Henson for a General Foods Canada commercial in 1966.
In the early 2000s, consumers started to turn to clean labels and demand transparency in the foods they eat.
In 2021, a cookie was crafted using natural, simple and plant-based ingredients for everyone to enjoy the beloved iconic cookie in a more mindful way.
MIMO stands for our tagline, Mindful Mouthful.
We believe that change starts from within, so we pay attention to what is inside our cookies. MIMO cookies contain no artificial preservatives or additives. Our ingredients are mindfully sourced and carefully selected.
We are working on getting our products in as many stores as possible. Check out our Find Us section to let us know where you’d like to find us!

No. MIMO cookies use high-quality, heat-treated flour to ensure the best flavour and texture to the product. Unfortunately, this same great flour that makes such perfect cookies, contains gluten. However, our wheat-free cookie has no flour in it but it is not certified gluten-free. It may contain traces of gluten.
Yes! In fact, NO animals were harmed in the making of our cookies, they’re vegan. Yep, that’s right VEGAN, we’re used to that reaction.
Yes, our cookie dough is safe to eat raw but your home will smell much better if baked before eating.
Yes! Just separate the plastic blister from the cardboard box and throw them in separate recycling bins. Your municipality will take it from here ;)
Molasses is a thick, sweet syrup that comes from beet or cane sugar production. Molasses contains unextractable sugar, vitamins and minerals, such as calcium, sodium, potassium and magnesium. It also helps us create the perfect cookie colours, tastes and textures.
